an acquaintance of mine owns 19,500 acres and could afford to buy any vehicle - in fact he does - and has a collection of very rare and valuable classic cars including several Ferrari's.

+1 i'm actually ashamed to be a RR owner when i see this sort of posted - its unforgivable under any circumstance the 'people like myself' comment defies belief and you are? |

i drive an 'old' focus estate to 'town' - not got a 'chip' about that either its like the old saying - 'class' is something you cannot buy' - you can have the rolex/rr/wife has tits uplift etc - but common decency and humanity is a rare trait! And the moral of this tale is? You should get better service because you drive a ferrari? Is he then better/worse than the groundworker he portrayed an hour before? Why would he feel the need to fetch his ferrari if it wasn't to suggest that the service he receives should be better. Could he not have approached the manager and requested a decent standard of service?

no its not - its simply that the OP went way OTT describing himself as 'better' than a Corsa' owner |

I think its all to do with perceived wealth and purchasing power. I have noticed it too, you turn up in jeans and an old beaten up car and you are un-noticed - you turn up in an expensive car well dressed and the idiotic salesmen are falling over themselves with £ signs in their eyes thinking yeah COMMISSION Last edited by Vogue on 19th May 2011 12:08pm.
