I need to get on with this, got the suction pump, got the oil and will warm the engine by going to collect the filter. Where do I insert the probe? Geoff

Mine is just a 6L one but it’s not hard to stop halfway to empty.
It was cheap enough on Amazon.
Just needs a longer tube, 10mm diameter.

There is a dedicated tube next to the oil filter cap, it twists and pulls up.
Hard to get off if it’s dry.
Suck from that, it works perfectly.
Oil is Castrol edge professional C1 and it’s expensive at the moment!!

Ah well took me a while to do the oil change, pump didn't have 9mm straw and of course the 6mm OD ones don't fit, also instructions were missing. Have raised the issue with supplier.

I did manage but only got about 8.5L out Sad

Would appreciate and help with instructions as I seemed to struggle. Geoff

Geoff,
The clear tube from the top of the syphon plug fits directly onto the engine syphon tube.

Thanks Mike, that's the tube that was missing. I think a workaround would be simply to buy some 6mm ID tube and connect it to the other 6mm OD "straws". What about lever positions on top it all seemed to take me ages. Geoff

my extractor has a few diff sized tubes but it also comes with a black rubber grommet to put on the end. The rubber grommet slides over the oil pipe inside the oil cap reservoir and creates an air tight seal. Sometimes too well and I need to really get a good grip to pull it off 2014 FF Autobiography 5.0 SC
