I have a 2015 Supercharged 5.0 as well as a 2022.5 RRS Supercharged P525. Was just in the local dealer looking at the new full size and a pre production 2023 RRS. The general manager said the new BMW engine equivalent has lost the character of the Jag/Ford engine and he expects the late 5.0 models to become sought after in the future. There is something about the instant acceleration, the steady climb to 130 mph plus and the smoothness of it all that makes it one of the great V8s of our time.

Exactamondo. More or less my thoughts too. Although if you're in the US you don't have the £10 gallon to deal with...! Owned a 5.0 Supercharged during lockdown, great time to own one as Petrol got as low as 99p a litre as opposed to today’s mad prices.

Well, by deploying some carefully crafted math maths (an essential tool for any boat owner), I've managed to "find" an extra £20k

Hi Graham, like you I’m on the last few laps of gainful employment and facing a similar quandary.

Go for the supercharged like Alistair I will be buying a LHD I have a 2007 supercharged which was mapped and had the pulleys done so quite quick it is now on 228k I tend to keep them I still have my classic and my p38 I am about to retire next year when I am 70 so it will be another v8 petrol - I will be getting rid of the boat and the plane when I go to France so a no brainer
