Disregard my last. It is a very straight-forward job and doesn't involve window channels at all.

loose 4 bolts, remove cables. reinstall in oposite direction. |

As Jimmie says, once you have removed the door card, remove the bolts (3 or 4) from the door latch at the trailing edge of the door. You will be able to then reach inside the door and remove the latch mechanism. It has the actuator cable attached and the mechanical door handle cable. You will need to remove both, plus the rod leading to the door button/knob above. You’ll need to swap the cover from your old unit to the new one and then refitting is a reversal of removal. The part (for the MY12) is only available from LR and will cost you around £250-£300. I don’t recall the part number, however LR can help. |
