I know but only parts for L322 newer than 2006 were posted! Still did not find the proper parts and nonody vould tell me if I can keep my existing ECU or if I need a mew one!

I can’t think of any reason you would need to change the trailer socket ecu, serving one new 13 pin socket is no different to serving the two existing 7 pin sockets. The ecu is still doing the same job.

Or, just use a twin (7 pin) socket to single (13 pin) adaptor lead. No need for the potential of b*gg&r^ng things up. Previous cars:

I would leave as is & if you need to tow trailers with 13-pin plugs then use an adaptor.

Yes you can just rewire the 2 7 pin sockets to a 13 pin. The functions are the same, its just a different plug.
