Thanks oggy - that’s exactly what’s happened. Whether there’s enough of the the "hollow" thread to weld a nut onto - I don’t know. I guess it might be tricky but they have a really good welder who might be up for the challenge. I’ll keep you posted! Thanks again haylands.

Good luck with drilling them out, we use a Laser Tools 8063 (or one out of the 7337 set if 14mm)socket on them and hope that a good 'snatch' on a breaker bar will release them - it usually does, if not, it's out with a die grinder to take most of the material & sensor away until the wall is thin enough to deform inwards with a centre punch but with one side ground to the profile of the sensor hole, if that makes sense? It's important to not chew up the threads of either the exhaust or the sensor collar trying to get it out before moving on to grinding it out as that just makes an awkward job harder... Other than a clean up with a finishing tap, this approach has worked every time.

Yes I do but some distance away - there's plenty of places that would be able to do it for you. Depending where you are, try contacting RLD - if he can't do it for any reason, he'll have a mate who can.
