Just spoke with them - £500+VAT for Clearplex - can go on heated & solar screens without an issue - its a lot of money but my L322 was never the same after having a new windscreen fitted and leaked within 3 months of replacement. 2021 P400 Silicon Silver AB Gone 2011 Bournville TDV8 VSE Gone 2008 Black Canadian HSE LUX |

the main problem that windscreen leak it is not the bonding of screen to frame it is the clips that hold the a pillar covers on they have got to be replaced with new clips with the seal rubbers on even if the old ones come out put them in a bin replace with new . i always remove all covers and replace them myself after 24 hours of windscreen being fitted if you want a job doing right do it yourself new vehicle purchase

I like and use many Sam Som products and find Bugsy is excellent at bug and bird muck removal. Spray on direct from the bottle, leave for a minute or two and just wipe away with a soft cloth or paper towel. Its what I use between proper cleans if the car gets splurged.

It's particularly bad when driving through France at dusk and during the night.

I clean my screen with 000 wire wool and detergent to get it as clean as possible then I use one of the cheap ebay ceramic coatings. This last a good 6 months, water just beads off once moving so hardly use my wipers for rain. A damp cloth removes bugs and other contaminants. 2007 TDV8 VSE

If you're the pre-emptive type, a RainX treatment on the screen will ease the whole process for at least a month
