Just about to order the original rear lamps, however when I look there are 2 variants. Mine is a 2003 should the lights be the ones with or without side marker? L322 TD6 2003

No side marker. That’s for the American market.

Though a few on here have got them and got the side markers working, if I remember right.

It's also possible to fit later LED style lights, BUT there are 2 problems -

1) Plugs and low load mismatch. Wires can be soldered, ballast loads may be added.
2) A mounting lug is in a different position. Use water resistant 'liquid nails' to fit a small wooden block to screw into.
