Installing rear entertainment

Has anyone retrofitted rear entertainment to a p400e ? Anyone know what parts might be required ?

Do we have a workshop manual that might help? Thanks.

i should imagine the cost would be extortionate and a complicated fit...apple or Android tablets would be a better choice. ... - .- -.

another vote for tablet......think my old L322 RSE only got used properly once.

If anything invest in some tablet holders and headphones for peace and quiet. Current

Agree - I've had both & wouldn't bother with RSE again.

The only advantage it has is it's controlled from th front screen, so for very young kids, that can be an advantage.
I guess you could count the fact that you could play the audio through the speakers may be considered an advantage, but we never used that, so had headphones that could only be used in the car.

As soon as they are old enough, they'd much rather have iPads - that they can also take and use anywhere - along with the headphones.

The screens always seem too small with the RSE systems too - it seems to date the car really quickly.

Run 2 separate iPads on mounts, download their favourite suff on them, Bluetooth headphones, done. Makes for a relaxing drive with zero bickering Mr. Green

My 1st 322 had aftermarket screens , dvd and a ps1 🤣😂. Daughter still bangs on about it many years later..
