Hi all, picked up my new to me 2014 SDV8 Autobiography yesterday, really pleased with it (had a 2016 AB Sport a couple of years back which I regretted selling!).

It came fitted with the rangeroverworld Android screen and later style a/c touchscreen panel which really modernises the interior, however having a couple of Android issues. I've looked on rangeroverworld's website and found the install instructions and how to setup etc however no instructions on how to pair my iPhone to it and also connect it to the Carplay module. I've managed to connect my phone to it for making calls etc but not for Carplay, I can connect to the module but when clicking on carplay i'm getting the ZLink page with an error saying it needs activating? Difficult to explain on here, a manual would be a lot easier for me to have a play!

Probably me being thick but Carplay is apple not Android? So your Android device wont work with a Carplay module or vice versa.. Android is Android Auto FFRR SDV8 Autobiography

You need to connect your phone to the bluetooth of the android unit (so not the range rover bluetooth), which i think you have already done. Then you also need to connect to the android units wifi. This may be deactivated, so you’ll need to go into the settings of the android and search for the wifi ssid.

I dont bother with carplay on mine. The connection very intermittent. So i use bluetooth on the cars original system, and can still use the headunit for everything else.
