I've just done 'ALL' my pulleys and water pump and alternator with genuine ones only.

After your write up as you’re aware I also did mine. My parts were from af too. Hope mine don’t end up like toast as soon as this. I use my car a lot. I won’t be impressed. I’m not pleased reading this post so soon. Sorry to hear this mate as well we all know ,it’s not the easiest of jobs 2016 4.4 diesel |

i think i stated be for you need to use genuine for pulleys etc and gen belts or gates belts and check and check again that the belt is in the pulley grooves and running in the same place as the last one you took off new vehicle purchase

I’ve always used AF And had no issues but I think it’s the top grooved pulley as it isn’t solid but wobbles 😡

Just the pulley mate as that’s what I got delivered but it doesn’t fit very well at all unfortunately I’ve just ordered full replacements from LR direct 2012 Range Rover Westminster 4.4 TDV8

Just ordered one of those as well, I’ve emails AF saying I’m not happy with the parts as one lasted such a short distance / time Iv asked to return them all for a refund I’ll await there response 2012 Range Rover Westminster 4.4 TDV8 2006 Discovery 3 HSE 260k miles and still going strong with a new owner |

50 max 😡 I’m taking it into my landrover parts dep tomorrow to see how it matches up against there’s for fit I’ve told Pete at AF that I at the least what a full refund for this part and both belts and I’ll be binning the rest as I’ve lost confidence in the parts, it’s a costly learning curve but that’s life 2012 Range Rover Westminster 4.4 TDV8

The tensioner would be the prime suspect as its pulley isn't ribbed which allows the belt to slip off and being pivoted will run the belt off if the pivot is at all loose. The belt is very unlikely to run off a ribbed pulley because of the ribs themselves and that those pulleys have raised edges. |

This is true but the ribbed pulley in the picture has almost 2mm side to side wobble this in my opinion has thrown the belt off centre and the rest is history 2012 Range Rover Westminster 4.4 TDV8 2006 Discovery 3 HSE 260k miles and still going strong with a new owner |
