Sagging rear

Car has dropped on drivers side rear, it drops in about 2 hours and I have had a suspension fault on dashboard.
Seen that it is most likely air bag but could be a air hose that has been chaffed.

So to test to either hear a leak or use soapy water do you jack up and support body, remove the wheel then block the hub and run car to pressurise suspension then test?

Have watched the videos and doesn’t look too difficult…do you concur? I presume it doesn’t need a error cleared when complete as I don’t have an idea tool.

Could be a leak or could be a faulty valve block or height sensor. It would be wise to invest in a GAP IID tool to save a lot of tail chasing….. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)

No harm in pulmping it up to off-road height and switching off to listen for any leaks. That may give you enough access to get some soapy spray on there as well, just keep your hands clear in case the suspension should suddenly drop. 2016 Skoda Octavia VRS Estate

Will an iid pinpoint the issue to either the block or the air bag?

Left it at normal height on Saturday and took a lot longer to drop, been busy so will be end of week before I get to look at it 2012 tdv8 Westminster arrived Jan 19 gone Dec 23

Hi, sorry to hear about your issue. Have you eliminated a dodgy ride height sensor ? I don’t think they usually throw up a suspension fault warning but the car would drop, always worth checking the cheapest option first. Good luck in sorting it out.

It’s just dropping on one corner. When weather improves I’ll take wheel liner off and investigate further cheers 2012 tdv8 Westminster arrived Jan 19 gone Dec 23
