I wouldn't be so sure yours is faulty as the PCV on mine is new. For £20 in Dave's link above it's worth a punt though!

I've found a smoke leak on mine using a smoke tester which I'm pretty sure equates to a vacuum leak when it's running so I'm tearing mine down to replace gaskets at the moment. 2002 4.6 Vogue SE - Alveston Red with Lightstone Leather

Pcv didn't cure mine I'm waiting on a smoke machine, I've got snout bearings and coupler too so I'm expecting a similar tear down shortly
