I know the pipe you mean behind the Supercharger. It's a rigid plastic pipe that pushes into a plastic collet with an o-ring underneath it and goes back to the brake booster. I rigged up a home made smoke tester and found that o-ring to be leaking.

I didn't know about that pipe connection, it's not the one I meant. Just check on rrs and the pipe I meant causing lean A and B codes.

I’m not really sure how to interpret them but to me these long term fuel trims look pretty good considering it spends a fair amount of time on LPG too.

I’ve Googled it several times and it seems that on a brand new valve you should be able to blow through it without restrictions in both directions as it’s spring loaded and closes at a certain amount of vacuum. 2002 4.6 Vogue SE - Alveston Red with Lightstone Leather

Done some more checking tonight.
Just need my torch wicks and some resistance wire to arrive to finish it off. Up The plan is to remove the pipe from the NS valve cover to the air intake pipe and connect this to the air intake whilst blanking off the port on the valve cover. The resistance wire will be wound around the wick and the wick soaked in baby oil or similar. I’m then going to set the regulator on the airline to around 10PSI and connect the resistance wire to a 12v battery. Once it starts to make smoke I’m going to connect the airline to the pot and hopefully watch for smoke coming out of something on the engine!! That’s the plan anyway! 2002 4.6 Vogue SE - Alveston Red with Lightstone Leather 2012 Range Rover 5.0 SC Autobiography in Indus Silver with Jet/Ivory Interior 2012 Range Rover 4.4 TDV8 Autobiography in Baltic Blue with Sand Interior 2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Black Edition in Santorini Black with Ebony Interior |

Sounds like a good plan and I do like the smoke tester might adopt that idea if you dont mind |

Smoke tester finished this evening. Resistance wire wrapped around the wick and then fitted into the pot.
12v feed now wired into the sides.
Baby oil now added to the mixture.
Whoever at Amazon packed this box - torch wicks, 12v cable with crocodile clips, resistance wire and baby oil would be as confused as hell ![]() Quick zap with 12v to ensure that we got smoke…
Quick puff of the lungs to see the result of the smoke machine: I then connected it to the airline and fed it with 10PSI and saw a leak. This makes perfect sense as it’s leaking right by cylinder 1. It’s cylinder 1 that logs most of the misfires when cold on the diagnostics. The only thing I can think of down there is the adapter plate that houses the injectors and sits between the charge coolers and the cylinder head. Am thinking of tearing the whole lot down, and replacing all of the gaskets including the valve cover ones whilst it’s in pieces. A job I could do without doing but hey ho.
