there should be some kind of 'strap' system on the passenger seat so you can use the heated seat function to keep the takeaway food warm..

Agree! Many cars have such strap system already, hope L460 will too! Cool

United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Zermatt Silver

You have to laugh, how can a thread wondering how much extra someone will pay for an early bird L460, turn into a discussion about the facilities for carrying a curry in the boot of your pride and joy. Laughing

As for spilling the said vindaloo Big Cry on the boot carpet, or all over the seats, goodness gracious, what to do, what to do.

Before a snowflake cries 'racist' I work with some Indian guys at sea, and they think it is funny.

At least we know the Ukraine and other supply issues do not effect the specialist dealer or the person who wants to make a quick £20/30k. Only effecting the cars that people have ordered that are loyal Range Rover fans 😂😂

It stinks, and JLR are taking the Censored out of us. Dealers are in on it and when you get yours they will insist on sale agreements to be signed.

Nah, not for me - it’s a car, smarmy Censored 😂😂😂

I understand some of your frustrations but a few things here really. Landrover will blacklist dealers and privates who have bought for themselves and then sold straight away so there is consequences to being a reseller.

The other being, once it’s their car surely they can do with it as they wish. If the supply and demand is there, they want to make a quick £20,000 i think that’s understandable?

Also by this happening it creates a halo car within the brand much like the GT3/ RS, you’ll always get flippers/ dealers but it does also create a stronger brand. It’s nice to know the one I’ve got coming won’t dump £40,000 straight off the forecourt for once. 19 L405 4.4 AB + Disco3 pick up + 800BHP Rothmans 911

The 'do not sell' clauses are anti-competitive and cannot be enforced. However as stated above, JLR come down heavy on this kind of activity and will penalise dealers for not conducting proper due diligence and ensure the owner finds it very difficult to find their way into another JLR product. The systems they use are very sophisticated and the parties involved are taking a very short term view.

But in 3 years time when they are overproducing and parking un registered cars on airfields you will still get the discount everyone else is offered.
I find it annoying that the car I ordered at Gaydon is not slotted yet but it is a first world problem, who cares. letters not necessarily in the right order

As I have said before, I don't really see a problem here. If someone wants to sell something that they have bought and someone else is willing to pay a premium what is the issue? The only way this would not be right is if a JLR dealer or someone working at the dealer was getting a kickback from the profit on the sale.

Looking at this months update from landrover on lead times anyone wanting to order any spec is going to wait over a year, I think it’s safe to say anyone receiving their car inside the next 6-12 months can enjoy depreciation free motoring for quite some time.

Interesting reading the spec of that SE it has some optional extras so isn’t a fixed build. I didn’t think LR we’re building custom orders yet. MY23 PHEV HSE
