A bit hard to tell from the video as the colour grading looks off - think the car at the beginning is Sunset Gold Satin with shadow pack and black roof.

I think the designers/marketing people know what they are doing with all these gold ones. I have not seen one in the metal or in pictures that looks as good as the gold. I would never choose gold as a colour for anything but it works here. I saw a Charente grey one at a local dealer yesterday with silver atlas and silver 22s and it was very underwhelming. This car is very colour sensitive compared to the 405. I currently have no idea what colour to have so it’s probably best my order is still not slotted Laughing

Have you seen a Sunset Gold Satin car in the metal 5.0? Keen to hear what you think if so.

Know what you mean about Charente Grey. I think it is very wheel sensitive - I have now seen one on 23 inch style 1075 diamond cut and it looked great. The same car on 23 inch style 1079 didn’t grab me. Go figure!

Anyhow, any ideas on the colour of the second car in this short clip? Doesn’t look brown enough for Charente so could it be Carpathian?

Yes I have seen it in the metal and it is the best by a long chalk compared to Charente and Portofino which are the other colours I have seen. However I have not seen any of them in natural light or on the road which could make a big difference.

I can’t really bring myself to choose gold for some reason. It just seems a bit 1990s. My dad had a light gold 7 series in the 90s which at the time looked good but I am not sure about now. I have been considering Flux silver as a half way house. I really think lighter colours look better and show the detail on the L460.

Thanks 5.0 that's helpful. Certainly in the videos and photos the Sunset Gold Satin looks good (great!) but I know what you mean about gold. That said didn't the L405 launch use Luxor beige cars? Not a million miles away from Batumi so perhaps the colour does suit RR in general.

Meanwhile a short clip of what looks like Belgravia Green to me. Videos and images of this colour seem to flip between gorgeous, warm olive green and drab, almost grey like. Another one to see in the metal!

Does anyone knows if the tail lamps stay always on from the moment you start the car? It would be nice with darker colours...

Freddy Bear, Luxor beige is a good example of not going by the press photos in my view. It looked good on all the L405 launch photos and videos as I recall but I have never liked the look of it on the road. It looks like a dated colour to me and I think that may be true for the Sunset Gold when we see them on the road in our usual dull weather.

The problem with a lot of these colours is that they are totally different in different light conditions. Belgravia is another good example of this. It looks like it's a nice green in sunlight and then a drab grey in dull light.

Rolls-Royce have got it right....... They can show you how a colour will appear in the different lights from around the world!!

If you want to know how a paint colour will look in Dubai, no problem, they can change the light in their studio to recreate that.

I didn't realise that the green could look grey and dull........ Might be back to the drawing board again then!!

Yes. That’s BRG in the sun. It looks almost black without bright light on it.

Jeeeeeeezzzzzzzz!!!! - That's horrible!!

It's described as Ultra Metallic in the link above I posted, is that definitely the same as "Gloss Finish" which is what they now call the BRG on the configurator?

Grange in Hatfield have one just like this in their showroom. The combination of the colour and the wheels makes it look very humdrum.

I am really hoping now that they introduce some other colours and wheels before my order gets slotted because every colour that was on my shortlist I am writing off one by one as more images and videos become available. Big Cry
