Different companies. Stan. Normally associated with a specific part of the autoroute system but with reciprocall agreements. Eg SANEF is Societé d’Autoroutes de Nord Est de la France.

Tags all work the same.

The tags work the same but the contracts vary eg different deposits, discounts on the sections they own, minimum monthly/annual charges etc.

Some include certain car parks John

Used a Liber-t tag for about 7 years. Works really well. Never had a problem. Think there is a small annual fee (€10 if I remember correctly) Cheaper than repairing a scuffed wheel or body damage if you get too close to the kiosk.

The tags are great, but I can’t understand why you have to slow down so much for it to register. Current: Range Rover L322 4.4tdv8, Porsche 911 (996) Carrera 2, BMW 535d Touring, Skoda Fabia, BMW S1000XR

I quite like stopping at the barriers. That way you can launch it like you are in the Cannonball Run. Very Happy

I definitely recommend a tag. It’s also quite amusing as often the car behind slows right down thinking the idiot Englishman is using a lane he shouldn’t be!

We’ve used a tag for a number of years. They make the process of passing through the toll booths so much easier, especially when you’re towing a wide caravan with mirror extensions. 2019 L405 SDV8 Autobiography

Slightly confused by this post - easy I know Laughing I have an account with Emovis that provided me with a liber-t tag that uses the SANF network of motorways so are there actually different tags or are they all the same ?
