A new Ami ?

Hi, As promised, whilst in France I took a look at the new Ami

Fully electric. Range about 40 miles , top speed 28 mph. £6,000.00 or so. On sale in the U.K. in June.

Ideal for around town . I’m very much larger than an average bear and I fit in

Seats are as hard as nails, no comfort , simply practical transport. Used in France for anyone over 16 with no licence. The kids are suping them up & might do 35 mph Rolling with laughter . With diesel at £1.75 less 0.05 from the chancellor, maybe it’s the future!

(Some other nice cars in the Citroen showroom.)

[/b] Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc

He who dies with the most toys wins...

Its strangely cute, but something about it reminds me of the old Invacar.

Quote......'Used in France for anyone over 16 with no licence' ( Over 14 in some euro countries ).........sounds like recipe for disaster!!!!!! Shocked The no licence part is sheer lunacy, 28mph is fast enough to cause nasty accidents.

Lots of “sans permis” in France. Often when disqualified used to stay on the road! Insurance is expensive. It’s a mad world. Sad Confused John

It's not new though, there have been all sorts of weird little cars over the years that you can drive in France when you're 16. MY23 Panamera E-Hybrid

While you do not need a licence, you still need a certificate following a test showing you know the roads rules, signs, etc. You can't just jump in and drive, just like for a scooter or moped. And I'd rather see kids in these than on scooters in the wet at night... l=Oo\________/oO=l l:OolΞΞΞΞΞΞΞloO:l

In the UK you need a full car licence. We don’t have a Quadricycle category over here so it’s a full licence or not at all. 2002 4.6 Vogue SE - Alveston Red with Lightstone Leather
