Of course it depends on how you intend to use it and how you typically drive. Also depends what you're coming from. These are proper awesome big fast heavy old barges. If you're used to driving a hot hatch fast you could get into trouble with either. If you're used to any other SUV type of car they are just better at everything.

Cheers Mike I’ve previously had an L322 4.4v8 on a 54 plate which I loved and now want the next step so all help and opinions greatly appreciated! I just need to find somewhere near that is reputable that can do the work if needed and then I can budget for a price to weigh up both options |

Ahh OK not such a big step then if that was the BMW V8 petrol and not the oil burner. Exactly the path I've trod (!) and each step has been an improvement on the last. Enjoy! Mike - MPx

Yep it was the bmw petrol so it looks like a good path to choose ! Just need to find one now ! |
