First thing to check is its not the harness /wire having broken. This the usual cause of the adaptive damping fault. Was the error open circuit or similar?

Can you see if a pin has broken off as I suspect there should be two pins per side. Check in the plug on the cable and see if the other half of the pin is in there 2011 TDV8 Vogue SE |

There's one pin when I look into the top of the damper. On the other side there are 2. It's the one pin side that's giving me the adaptive dynamics fault. Everything else is OK. |

Can you look at the plug end and see if there are two small holes where the pins would connect to 2011 TDV8 Vogue SE |

If you have two holes in the plug end but only one pin on the shock I would say that one pin has broken off, perhaps someone might be able to confirm by taking a picture of theirs to confirm 2011 TDV8 Vogue SE |

2 pins are required to complete the circuit. If the missing one is totally missing, not bent out of the way, then a new shock is required. |

Oh no! Crazy how the top bit can't be replaced. Guessing it's 600 ish because a pin is broken. I was hoping there mightve been a repair kit for it or I could fix it as the shock is fine. |
