Advice on buying with transfer box service 3 years overdue

Apologies but just joined to try and get some advice and not sure where to post this!

Upgrading from my RRS to a L405 and looking at a 2014 SDV8 from a dealer but the online service schedule says renew dynamic response fluid reservoir, transfer box oil and locking diff oil at 60 months / 80,000 miles.
There is no evidence that any of those have been done either in the online service history or receipts and it has now done 111,000.

Would it be OK if those items are done now or should I walk away?

Any advice gratefully received etc

Impossible to tell. If it has a full main dealer service history you could assume it would have been done on the 5th service. If it’s been done by Indies or non specialist garages with no paper work you can’t tell. My Indie follows the LR schedule but whether others do I don’t know. If it drives well, no noises, thumps or grinds and you like it enough to to buy it then just do those things as soon a you get it or negotiate with the dealer. Personally, I would do it myself then I know it’s been done.

A bit more info:
The 4th service by MD is described as the 4 year and the parts match the schedule, so it wasn't done early.
The 5th service by MD simply says 'oil service' with service items as "n/a" so I'm tending to think it wasn't done then.
Subsequent services are by a non-specialist garage with nothing on the invoices to indicate it was done at a later stage, so I have to assume it hasn't been done. No way I could do it myself

By now it should have had 7 services or 8 it’s reg date is early 2014. If it’s had those it’s not something that would put me off, but I would get it done if you buy it, maybe with a discount.
When I bought mine at six years old it didn’t have any record of specific items being done, just stamps and online records, so I did everything when I took delivery.

Never trust a dealer history earlier, we had to ask for those items to be done on ours, they just quoted for a oil service. I viewed quite a few with fairly poor main dealer service history in my eyes. Sold - Bell a 2015 MY16 Loire Blue Autobiography 4.4 SDV8
Previously George a 2007 MY07 Java Black VSE 3.6 TDV8
Previously a 04 MY04 Defender 90 Sad

On MY18 SDV8, just had the 4Y done, and the Transfer Box and locking diff is now a 4Y change not 5Y. So sometime between MY15 and M18 it was changed (brought forward a Year). Presume it was at Facelift time?

I ensured local Indie had the new spec sheet as he also stated its a 5Y change out and was surprised when I sent him the 4Y updated sheet.

So question is why have they done it? is it results of all the changes they have done and decided to increase the frequency?
Interesting! Whistle

The Dynamic response fluid is still 5Y though 2018 SE SDV8 4.4 Byron Blue

Morning When mine went in for the 5th service at the MD i checked after and all the big jobs were done but on the online service history it just said oil change, it was the last time that it went to an MD as when i was checking what they had done i had to fit the dynamic response fluid reservoir and airfilter box back properly as neither was secured corectly and clean a nice greasy handmark of the rear seat, it now goes to my local Indie who adds every part of the service to the LandRover online history and actualy has the time to discuss the car with me. Very Happy

Just to update this a little, thanks to a lot of chasing up by the selling dealer, it transpires that:
The 5th service included the dynamic response fluid and the transfer box (I have a print out from the MD), then the locking diff and transfer box (again) were done this year by the indie as a freebie (confirmation in writing by the garage) as the owner had had a lot of other work done there.

I now own the car! Chris

Our transfer case oil was done at 60k miles. What do learned forum members advise by way of intervals after that?
