Seat squab swap?

Hi All,

My ab jet interior is still looking great however the driver side squab has start to collapse.

I know the covers are £££ so I was thinking about getting a new foam then swapping passenger and driver squabs over as there will have been very little stress on the opposite sides… is this practical? Current stable:

Also my heating cooling is great so was going to recycle the ducts just wondered if it’s worth changing the foam topper or if it’s so thin it’s doesn’t make much difference anyway Current stable:

Yes you can put the drivers seat base in the passenger side... You will however need to remove the passengers weight switch and re install it in the new passenger seat swab sir... Thumbs Up

I must be old. When I was growing up, the squab (British English) was the seat backrest and one sat on the cushion.

It appears that squab is now the cushion. Ron B. VK2OTC
