Standard Logic 7 Speakers problem

So I took a closer look at my 4.4TDV8 audio system because IIDTool always throws me permanent faults on speakers 1, 2, and 8 (open circuit). I know fatties throw random speaker codes from time to time, but these are permanent.
The codes are:
B1A01-13 (2F)
B1A02-13 (2F)
B1A08-13 (2F)
Since my front bass speakers are both blown (a common issue because of Harman/Kardon's poor design/under dimensioning) I'm going to replace them with beefier aftermarket midbass speakers.
The right-hand front bass was already blown when I bought the car, so I disconnected it at the time.
For reference according to the factory manual
speaker 1 refers to the front left tweeter,
speaker 2 refers to the front left bass,
speaker 8 refers to the rear right bass
(See the picture I have made for illustration)
But there is a catch: In the standard Logic 7 system front tweeters and midranges are connected in parallel, hence sharing a channel.
So I think the factory manual is designated to Logic 7 HD system and these speaker numbers might be completely different in the standard system.
I'm saying this because I made a diagnostic procedure.
First I listened very carefully all the 14 speakers in the system.
Results:
Front left bass sounds terrible since it's blown.
Front right bass makes obviously no sound because it's disconnected.
Both rear midranges(upper speakers in rear doors) make a very weak hissing sound.
All the other speakers(including speakers 1 and 8 according to fault codes) sounded perfectly fine.
The second procedure was to disconnect speaker wires from the amplifier and check resistance/impedance:
All the speakers were in spec (around 2 ohms) except for:
Front right bass (obviously because it's not connected) infinite ohms
Both rear midranges (those had a faint hissing sound) infinite ohms
So my second procedure corresponds exactly to my first observation and is totally different from fault code reading.
According to the fault code list, my codes should be for speakers 4, 5, and 7. Not 1, 2, and 8.
So can anyone confirm my hypothesis, that standard system speaker numbering is completely different than HD system?
And if so, does anyone know, what are the numbers for standard Logic 7?
Sorry for the long text, tried to explain it as detailed as I can and English is not my first language. šŸ™‚
I would be really grateful if anyone would take the time to think along.

I know, my picture is taken from this exact manual. I just wrote speaker numbers there that are taken from the fault code list.

No idea then mate. They didnā€™t use the same speaker numbering for fault codes thenā€¦.. 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

There are some codes listed in the link below for a Freelanderā€¦ it has codes and speaker positions listed.

Might just be a generic code/location?

Thank you for this information. At least it confirms my suspicion, that for different models the speaker numbers in DTCs relate to different speakers in car.
As I have downloaded all the manuals from Topix for my VIN, it still seems that DTC index for Amplifier module consist only of Logic 7 HD codes and sadly there are no code explanations for standard Logic 7. Seems like trial and error, as it will be less time consuming than searching in internet. Very Happy

OK, I've now confirmed the real locations of the standard Logic 7 speakers according to diagnostic trouble codes. I just pulled plugs from the speakers one by one and looked at the fault codes every time. It was a lot of messing around with the interior trims, but I couldn't leave it unknown. šŸ˜ƒ I was changing speakers in front doors anyway.
So here's the drawing I made, hope this would help some of you guys in the future when you're looking at fault codes and are wondering which speakers are they correlated with.

So I replaced the bass speakers in the front doors with the GAS PS3M62 PRO SPL ones. They were just plug and play, no modifications needed. Even speaker wires plug right in and polarity is the same as originals, unlike Focals. The sound and SPL of these are AMAZING. You can feel your pants shaking and the bass is really deep and powerful. It sounds like a whole new system. These speakers bring out all the power that this amplifier has to offer and original H/Ks couldn't handle. šŸ˜ Haven't turned the volume up all the way yet, because I want to play new speakers in for a while, but boy is it loud and clean already. Worth every penny. Really good upgrade.

Interesting about the speakers - I didn't realise there were any retrofits around!

Looking at the GAS website however, not in the UK. How much are the speakers in Northern Europe? I know for a fact that the Harmon Kardon low range speakers are Ā£45 each because, I've bought a couple. That didn't seem a bad price considering the brand name on them and the fact the main dealer gets their premium. 2015 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 SDV8

The speakers were 95eur a pair, so the same price as OEM, but much much better quality and power output.
