So this is a new one.

Sound on my unit was always fine, whether Logic 7 was activated or not. Recently, however, having Logic 7 activated results in distorted sound and poor quality if you switch that off, sound is back to normal (albeit without the surround effect of logic 7). Is there a separate unit that deals with this in the boot?

I have yet to properly strip it all out to check for water ingress as it doesn't exactly look like a 5 minute job!

Yes, it’s a bit chilly out 🤣. It’s tucked away near the bottom. I’m assuming you get the distortion on multiple sources, ie DAB and CD so it’s def amp related?

Might be worth taking connectors off and trying some switch cleaner… though hopefully it’s just a bit of damp rather than a failure of something.

Well, I'll try kill a few birds with one stone.
