Dave,
do you push and pull them out of the garage when needed?
or do you leave the lifting platform out?
I am getting too old to work with axle stands lol these look perfect and safer too. 2012 Vogue 4.4 TDV8 - Current

United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Westminster TDV8 Ipanema Sand

Two post lifts give great access but they worry me from a balance perspective if the vehicle being lifted is not placed centrally on the lift. Also you need to make sure that the floor is sufficiently strong to support the lift columns…ie depth and type of concrete. 2012 tdv8 Westminster arrived Jan 19 gone Dec 23

I wheel it in and out when required, its heavy but not too bad to move once its going, folds nicely into the garage once work is complete and fits in with all the other necessary items Neutral

I had a 155k miles L322 and just acquired a 50k miles L405. The former went on my 4T full rise 2 post OK, it was at the limit width wise. So, its going to be fun seeing how the L405 sits on the same ramp. When i buy a car I do a full fluids changeout back to front and I also need to fit some mud flaps so once I amass all the oils, the flaps and a gearbox sump/filter then its game on.

It is a worry with in particular short wheel base cars. I had a LR Series II on my ramp and the arms were almost touching. I was oil servicing the car, I wouldn't have wanted to be removing or adding any heavy bits with it sat like that. Its all about being sensible, practicing your exit getaway (basically making sure there are no objects blocking the way in all directions) and doing a rock test when the car is 6 inches off the ground. Final visual check is when its raised to make sure the pads are in the correct place to both support the weight and also not possibly slip out and away from the vehicle.

I won't spend any time underneath a raised car unless I'm 100% happy it is sat right and is not going to move. Sometimes it can take me a good while till I'm happy but that has led to no stress and no fractures and no damage. My 4T 2 post is the best DIY investment that I have ever made. It beats rolling around on a cold concrete floor every day of every month.

Had the car up on the ramp for the first time today to do a full fluids change on the diffs, gearbox, transfer box and engine.
