I guess the worming when returning to UK stays the same? what's it recorded on ? any special UK form or do you still use the pet passport for that?

Yes all the same Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc

Sorry Stan to semi hijack thread we sold our house in France a couple of years ago and are looking to buy another but my brother in law still lives in France could we use his address for a French passport?

My guess is no one really cares that much, it’s up to the French vet. No harm in just trying, they can only say Non, no can do Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Stan,
Have you considered a different route, ?
Brittany Ferries have been advertising some bargain daytime sails on the Portsmouth Caen route.
It’s a much easier drive due South .
Might be worth doing some sums, fuel saved , toll charges saved ? etc.
Mike.

Mike that’s interesting .
We tend to use euro tunnell , However their prices have shot up.
Took a look at Brittany ferries, not so bad, but as u were talking ferries, made me look at dfds via direct ferry. New haven/Dieppe is half the price of BF, one could argue only half the way!
That said have already booked euro T for our next trip. Will think again next time.

If you go Newhaven - Dieppe and one of your party is 60 or over then there is a 20% discount available. You have to phone for it. You can't do it on line. I check the price on the internet and then phone for the "Seniors discount".

It is very straightforward and worthwhile if you qualify. John

Driving from Perigueux up to Amsterdam we would do the peripherique quite often, but always between 12.00 and 14.00, most are having lunch. Friday is a difficult one, most of the civil "servants" are having their day off, so are on the road to visit family. With the 35H week a lot of working peeps leave their work at 12.00. It takes us always an hour to pass Paris, but not on Friday.

In fact the ferry to caen is not a bad alternative, and these little pills help your dog to stay calm and happy:
Beaphar (cyclizinehydrochloride) It seems not healthy for our pats to use medicaments for humans as primatour etc. for them.

Rabies \
The test must be carried out on a sample collected by an authorised veterinarian at least 30 days after the date of vaccination and not less than three months before the date of movement

That’s four months in all ! Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc

Robert, we do give our dog cannabis chunks for her to calm down on bonfire/new years fireworks and they do work well.
but, she's 15 years old and we couldnt leave her in the car or ship kennels for hours..

i've downloaded the 9 page english/french pet certificate and the wife is going to have a good look at it...maybe even fill most of it in and let the vet finalise it for a reduced charge?

anyway we , as many others , will pay whatever the costs are for our cherished pets.. ... - .- -.

CBD for dogs, what a great idea, that I haven't thought about that before (being born in Amsterdam... Mr. Green ) Would be great to use as pain killer for our 13 year old Labrador...this forum is gold. you always learn something!
