Hydraulic ramps. Not sure if you can get a set that you can raise to different heights? |

This set up works well for me on my sloping drive, but you would have to place the lower side ramp on blocks to overcome side to side slope.

I did see a set a while back that had that. You drove onto the top part of the same and jack it up. It was an expensive option so moved on… Currently driving: 2012 L322 SE Overfinch 4.4 tdv8 Past rides: 2014 Audi Q7 3.0d (good riddance) 2010 L322 Autobiography 5.0 Supercharged 2011 L320 HSE 3.0 sdv6 2014 Jaguar XF-RS 5.0 supercharged 2007 BMW 535D 2005 Mini Cooper S https://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/topic59478.html |

I had a set in which each ramp had a bottle jack to raise the top plate of the ramp. I got them off Ebay. IIRC they were about £100 the pair. John

My drive slopes two ways, so I decided which part of the drive I wanted the car to be on to work on it and made four drive on ramps out of timber, each a different height so when on them the car is level.

I get scared just seeing some of this. To me there is a reason why the floor should be level, and you shouldn’t use a ramp to make it level and lift.

From a safety point of view it’s not an issue, the car is totally stable. It’s only about an extra 5 inches off the ground and I check with the car in N, EPB off that the car doesn’t move. Then, with the car in P and EPB on and the wheels chocked ( the chock you can see is held in with a long screw) I raise the suspension, stop the engine and put axle stands under the chassis. Finally I always open a door. Nothing moves.
