Very good for a PHEV. Imagine what the BEV version will do if this is anything to go by.

The PHEV is doing 1.8 miles per kWh. So to get to a range of 300 miles it only needs about 166kw of battery.

Thanks for the link. The more powerful hybrid is short wheel base only. Wonder why that is? That is frustrating, as I was going to go for the LWB P510e. 2024 Range Rover P550e AB

It has slightly lower (~10mm) clearance as well, and only 2500kg towing capacity. But still definitely a very capable vehicle!
Got information that it could be delivered from Q3 this year. A "bit" more expensive in Norway; around £168' for a P440e AB. Still very tempting!

Does anyone know if this PHEV is permanent 4 wheel drive even when the battery is depleted ? I know models like the XC90 PHEV are two wheel drive without the battery so wondering if this is the same ? 2021 P400 Silicon Silver AB

2500kg is very disappointing.

Same as the non-PHEV ones, Intelligent All-Wheel Drive similar to the Defender (so can decouple the front axle for economy).

Have spec’d mine today with the 510e engine.
Our caravan weighs in at 2000kg so I am happy with that

Thanks Philip, that sounds the best of both worlds if it can still have 4 wheel drive without battery and better economy with 2 wheel drive on a motorway. 2021 P400 Silicon Silver AB

The PHEV engines are on the builder now.

Would the likely performance and economy of the P440e be similar to the P400 when the battery was drained? Or given the battery provides c.140BHP, would the petrol engine be more likely a 300BHP version of the petrol 6 cylinder with reduced performance and possibly economy give the extra weight of the PHEV? MY23 D350 HSE

The P440e performance is 0-60 in 5.7 sec / 0-100km/h in 6.0 sec - not too bad!

I've also entered the queue today, P440e AB Smile

I assume that’s the performance with the charged battery. What will it be when the battery has discharged? MY23 D350 HSE
