Just to add to this , what should be behind the NSR boot panel ? If something is missing that will explain why its not working , like a DVD player? I had vogue previously so unfamiliar with the lower spec models unfortunately |

Usually if something breaks the fibre optic ring you’ll get an orange flashing light and the LR logo on the screen.

Take a look in the left hand panel in the boot, there is a "stack" that includes the Bluetooth module (on top) and then the amp, NAV CD etc. There is a fibre optic cable that loops to each one of these. If one of these fails then its breaks the circuit. You will probaby find if you pull the plugs some blue residue where water has run down the cables from a leaky window seal. If you can work out which one it is you can get use a biro to make a temporary bridge on the fibre optic cable and this will enable you to test if this is the issue.
