Does it stall only when turning? If so may be worth checking your pulleys for one that may be sticking and causing excess load on the engine when trying to turn (thinking about PS pump here).

Mine was a simple fix, the new spark plugs fitted during the rebuild started to give out. Replaced for standard single core plugs problem solved. |

What symptoms did you have... plugs, rocker gaskets and PCV next on list. My RR runs smooth, a tiny miss on idle but hardly noticeable and nothing on lpg. I wish the issue would chuck up a warning light! My gut feeling is that its something electrical but it happens so randomly at all operating temps and different miles? |

My steering does feel a little notchy but I have put that down to the icy driving conditions and a slightly worn inner tie rod, new one has been sitting on the kitchen shelf for several months! Older RR aren't great on the slippery stuff, ideal for mud and snow but not ice! Don't know how a pulley issue would shut the fuel off, alternator is fine, starts right up after the brain fart? |

Think I will clean the throttle body and have a look for air leaks as my next job? Some posts have suggested MAF sensor but it's strange how it only happens occasionally? Just driven car back from business, approx 4 miles and it stalled three times when slowing down to a stop on both petrol and lpg? I thought it would stall again as revs dropped to 500 rpm and then it picked up? No problem with cold start this morning. |

+1 for MAF. Replaced mine for a new Bosch. Symptoms were same as OPs. |

Cleaned out throttle body, MAF and checked for vacuum leaks plus a hard ecu reset. I Have been using the car all day on mixed journeys trying to get the car to stall and so far so good! I think the lpg switches in quicker than before, not that it took ages. Fingers crossed that it just needed a good clean? Only other niggle is an airbag light, diagnostics points to passenger seat power issue... happened the same time I kicked the front chin spoiler back on to the bumper, might have upset a crash sensor? Would reset for a few days and come back, hasn't gone out after a hard reset today? |
