May be worth checking with them that it’s valid sir… I don’t know much about MOT’s But I suspect it may need rectifying before a retest is done 👍 |

I know the feeling regarding the MOT history of the car. When I got mine it’s had a perfect MOT history with very low mileage between tests. First test I took It for cost me nearly 3 grand in repairs |

As far as I know, you can only legally drive a car without an MOT on the public highway directly to a pre booked MOT test.

If you wanted to be absolutely sure you could get it through the MOT and then go to get the alignment done once it’s legal again as alignment won’t cause an MOT fail.
