2015 Range Rover Vogue SE SDV8 Santorini Black
L405 newbie questions!

It’s nearly getting to the point that I might have to look at the bloomin manual!

Can any of you help please:-

1. Should the indicator and wiper stalks be illuminated?
2. Is the screen wash (squirters) meant to be a fine mist or are they blocked/damaged - my L322’s had full on jet blast but the new one doesn’t seem as powerful
3. Did I read somewhere that the rear camera has a spray wash to clean it?
4. Mine’s a 2015MY SDV8 SE and I thought from that model year that it should have the auto access mode. It doesn’t seem to work automatically but does using the button on the drivers door.
5 Speed alarm - in my last L322 there was an option to have a speed alarm which I had set at 75mph as I drive daily on the camera infested M1 and M25. It would ‘bong’ when you hit 75 but I haven’t found this function on the L405

Happy Christmas to you all and thanks for your help!

Congratulations

1. Should the indicator and wiper stalks be illuminated? Don't think so.
2. Is the screen wash (squirters) meant to be a fine mist or are they blocked/damaged - my L322’s had full on jet blast but the new one doesn’t seem as powerful - Meant to be a fine mist which should work really well.
3. Did I read somewhere that the rear camera has a spray wash to clean it? - Not on your model year on 2016 onwards.
4. Mine’s a 2015MY SDV8 SE and I thought from that model year that it should have the auto access mode. It doesn’t seem to work automatically but does using the button on the drivers door. Not on your model year on 2016 onwards.

1. No mine are not illuminated
2.Mine is a fine mist
3. No rear camera spray (just headlights)
4.Mine’s a 2015MY SDV8 AB. I do have proximity unlocking and I believed they all had them (it was not an optional extra and the brochure for that year doesnt mention it)- I reckon you should have it
5.I have the speed alarm ASL button next to the terrain control knob

Thanks miambton, I’ve got proximity unlocking too (keyless unlocking when you’re close?). Will have a play with the ASL button, thank you. Have had a quick go on the adaptive cruise and that is really weird but great 😀! Haven’t plucked up the courage to test the queue assist yet!

The big test (that I have not tried) is the auto braking/crash avoidance system 2015 Range Rover L405 SDV8 AB Corris grey

GAC23 - Auto Access Mode - I may have got that wrong but think that is where the car automatically lowers into access mode as your speed drops (i.e. suspension lowers)

miambton - me neither but I have set off the hazard alarm thing a couple of time (which seems incredibly sensitive Smile Smile !)

I'm the same. Have not yet plucked up the courage to try it. Have attempted to try it but always bottle it at the last minute (assuming you mean when the Adaptive Cruise control is on).
