At the tender age of twelve, in a tiny bedroom converted from a cupboard in my parents house, I had a wall full of images of a particular car, a catalogue of Canon camera gear in a drawer, and Rolex brochure under my pillow.

Never heard of her. Off to Google images..... I may be some time! The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom |

The thing about expensive watches is not about telling the time. It is a personal statement and you are saying to the world "look at me, I am a man who can afford a £10,000 watch". I owned a Breitling Aviator for a while. It was a beautiful watch, light and elegant, but all it could do was tell the time, and if I am going to wear a device on my wrist, it needs to do more than that. I have since had a Casio Protrek Titanium which has radio updating, is always accurate to the second, and has other useful facilities. Later versions have even more functions including GPS.I also have an Apple Watch but find this to be my least useful Apple accessory. The notifications are too small to read without my glasses, it needs to be charged every night, and is only really of much use as a fitness tracker.

Pantera GTO isn't ugly by any means, but I was referring to Laura Pausini..... The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom |
