England 2006 Range Rover SE Td6 Java Black
Model year identification

Just looking for new wheels/tyres for the RR. I know this sounds like a daft question, but I'll go ahead and ask anyway. There has been some threads that cover some of this, but thought it'd help others and make it easy for me. Smile

I have a TD6 on a 55 plate. It has the clear rear indicators and the 3 fin side vents.

There seems to be a distinction between 2002 - 2004 RR and 2005 MY and now I've found references to MY2006 being different again.

Is mine a 2006 MY or a 2005? Post facelift?

Am looking at some 2009 7 spoke 19" wheels. I presume these will fit to replace my 18" 5 spokes.

The first digit of the last 8 characters of your VIN will tell you the model year..

e.g.: 5A123456 is a 2005 model year Smile

Nice one. Thumbs Up Mine is indeed an 06MY.

I presume that wheels from 05 up to 09 will fit then.
