Just checked my spare wheel, only had the TDV8 for a week, and the 2 web staps and plastic bit that fitted into the lower tail gate, to assist in it's removal, that I had on my TD6, are not there.

Not they are not there you just have to be stronger |

I wonder if you can retro fit them? They are bloody useful. |

Spoken to stealer who said RR removed them for some odd reason.

Yep, to save them a few quid!! Most buyers won't even consider such things until it's too late and the money is in the dealers back pocket. That's how they get away with fitting those ![]() This morning, the guy from LR assistance went into the spare wheel well on mine to get to the compressor and commented that he was glad it had the straps, as the later models don't and some of his colleagues were injuring themselves lugging spare wheels out all day with no straps to help! Maybe a few law suits will persuade them to start fitting the straps again. |
