My 07MY (late 06 production) FFRR has the triple flash indicators. Perhaps suggesting it was the 06/07 onwards cars with the updated interiors that had the triple flash 'lazy' indicators?

Good function though - only wish it was 4 flashes not 3! -----------------------------------------------

Has anyone with a 2005 (touch screen) been able to get the RAC body module function to work? I am able to read and clear faults, but when I enter the body control function, it does not read what the current settings of the truck are. Also I tried to turn on the emergency siren and nothing happened.
Thanks in advance!

I am going to be using it on a MY06....MY06 still has some systems that the 2005 and older have, so it will be interesting to see what it can actually do... Idea 2006 RR 4.4 HSE

RSW All-Comms in Use

Trying to keep things in place Wink

After putting things back together I ran and re-ran diagnostics with my all comms, getting some recurring faults, some more obvious than others:

FFRR - RSW All-Comms Report
6/11/11

ABS
~~~
Steering angle sensor initialisation.
AIR SUSPENSION
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
CAN bus Fault.

BODY CONTROL
~~~~~~~~~~~~
Passenger door central locking mechanism short-circuit.
ENGINE IMMOBILISER
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Power-on Reset.

HEVAC
~~~~~
Aspirator motor fault.
INSTRUMENT PACK
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
EBV function fault received from ABS ECU.

LIGHTING
~~~~~~~~
Air suspension active/inactive.
Right side marker defective.
SECURITY ALARM
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Coding checksum error.

TRANSMISSION
~~~~~~~~~~~~
CAN bus brake signal fault General fault
Interesting - no problem with right side marker, can't clear the CAN bus faults. Clearing most faults seems to have got rid of my HDC Inactive message on startup though.
Anyone had the Aspirator Motor fault on HEVAC - what is it?
[EDIT - found on LandyZone - "the aspirator motor is in the air conditioning ecu (control panel), its the motor that spins behind the control panel to draw air in to measure the ambient temp, so if this sticks or fails then wrong reading will occur"] My heating and aircon all seems to work OK.
or this one:
CAN bus brake signal fault General fault?
and what the heck is this all about:
EBV function fault received from ABS ECU? .
Experience is the only genuine knowledge, but as time passes, I have forgotten more than I can remember Wink
Swast (Adam) was getting the can bus fault and went through loads to get it sorted but he had his tracking and steering angle reset and it sorted his abs and can bus errors. Mthe HVAC could be the FSR? [img]http://www.fuelly.com/driver/rob2529/range-rover[img/]
we seem to have a new update which gives us a new tab with 'activation' written on it..i cant enter into the software so i suppose we have to connect to the unit for the software to be accessed..
also there are chinese copy's of storeys unit bouncing about which will not work with the software..
