The swan-neck part of the Westfalia tow-bar wouldn't fit direct, there is a receiver which does attach to what your pic appears to be;

That's correct...... I'd have a look through the For Sale & Wanted page here, you might hit lucky but if not will at least be able to gauge the normal price. There's usually a few on ebay but often seem expensive. The black polystyrene moulding fits in the under-floor cubby hole on the right side, to store the swan-neck when not fitted.
Ditto. One of the things on my wanted spec list is a tow-bar, if I buy a vehicle without then I'll be fitting one, for the same reason.... the phrase "It's not how often you need something it's how much you do, when you do" comes to mind. If your car has a standard rear bumper you'll have a towing eye accessible. My old L322 pulled many a vehicle back out of the desert with that towing eye........ Pajeros, numerous Hummers, a Cherokee on a semi-regular basis, it's just no good for a trailer though! 2010 Range Rover Autobiography TDV8 Santorini Black 2010 Range Rover Autobiography TDV8 Zermatt Silver [Gone] 2003 Range Rover HSE Oslo Blue [Gone] 1985 Camel Trophy 90 (Netherlands Team Vehicle) [Gone] 1990 Camel Trophy 127 (Workshop Vehicle) [Gone] 1989 Camel Trophy 110 (Workshop Vehicle) [Gone] 1998 Camel Trophy Freelander (South African Team Vehicle) 1995 Camel Trophy Discovery 300Tdi (Raft Unit) [Gone] |

You need the armature shown in your first post. The piece showing in your last photo (the ring) is part of an original fitting which, although will be marked “Westfalia”, is NOT part of a towbar and needs to be removed and replaced by the aforementioned armature,

Blowing that photo up gives the impression you have a Westphalia unit with the socket for the swan neck. Have a good look under there, the West. bar should have a label on the right as you look at it.

If that silver car in the photo is yours, then as you have half the unit fitted, it's possible the other half is in the boot....

Hadn't spotted the receiver. As Alistair says, try the cubby hole. John
