Cant help with sunroof, but totally agree if its fitted then it should work!

I've been through a similar experience, so know where you're coming from. My tuppence worth is if you're under a warranty then I'd push for it to be repaired. You may not be too concerned about a sunroof, but the next buyer may be, so why should you be the only one to take the hit. Encourage alternative fuels, use all the petrol!
