Parking Sensor

Hi all, any thoughts appreciated. My parking distance sensor isn't working on a FF 4.4 AB 2012 L322, I have had a sensor replaced and have tried 3 different modules in it but no joy, vehicle shows no faults, there is a long been when engaging reverse, camera and everything else seems fine, bloody frustrating

I had issue with sensors when I got my FF. It turned out the sensors were all fine but the wiring that runs to them had been trapped and was damaged. Probably when the bumper had been removed previously. If you pull the bumper off and check the wiring I would hazard a bet that you will find a break. L322 2007 TDV8 3.6

I had the same on mine. The bumper had been off for paint when I bought it. The sensor loom dropped down and was melted by the exhaust...... on the test drive!

If it's any help I've had a listen with a stethoscope and none of the sensors are clicking

Sounds like a loom fault. L322 2007 TDV8 3.6

Pretty sure on your car the sensors don't click. Bish.

A plus on above post, read somewhere that only the earlier sensors make a discernible noise.
To start with, I am assuming that you have a switch for these on the centre panel, does the light illuminate when you press this, if so then could be a wiring problem. If none of them work, meaning front and back then I would check the switch, could be sticking in the 'off' position inside?

Hi, cheers, I have tried it with both the switch and by putting it in reverse, long beep, light flashes on switch a couple of times but no joy from the sensors
