Viscous fan bracket / pulley 4.4 tdv8 (2011 MY) - Brexit ?

Morning all.

Decided to change all belts / water pump / pulleys on my 59k miles FFRR tdv8 4.4. Have got serious chirps squeeks etc.

Got hold of just about all of the parts except the the viscous fan bracket / bearing / pulley ( rarely changed it seems - no after market).

Tried my usual sources and all said that there are none in the UK, on back order and might be weeks. Spoke to LR who confirmed that a number of service parts have run out, including he one I need LR022810 - BRACKET - COUPLING SHAFT BEARING 4.4L. They are on "back order" he said and it looks like weeks rather that days. Did not seek to blame Brexit directly but something is going wrong with parts supply.

Anyone got one they need to sell?

Cheers

Could the bearings be replaced if identified & sourced separately?

Good suggestion!!

I researched this - people have apparently tried to source the bearings but they are a one off barrel shaped affair which no bearing catalogues list unfortunately

Hi, when you got your old one off did you find any wear in the bearings? I'm currently getting all the parts together to do all the pulleys and wondered if it is worth replacing this one considering it's expensive and there are no after market ones which might point to the fact that it's more durable than the others. I am buying genuine parts only.
Cheers Kev.

Hi Rob, do you think it was the idler pulley or the fan attachment bearing that was making the noise on that part?
I'm still collecting all the pulleys to do mine and not sure whether to just replace the pulley.
Thanks Kev.
