United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Tonga Green
The dreaded tin worm!

My ‘07 MY Vogue SE has just failed its MoT test.
Other than a leaking rear brake pipe and a dodgy front suspension bush, both of which I can repair for myself, it has excessive corrosion in the rear of the sill. O/S is showing as major fail and N/S as advisory.
Anybody got any idea of what sort of cost I’m looking at here?
As it is now without a valid MoT, I can’t hawk it round various garages/body shops although I can, of course, drive it without an MoT to a repair appointment.
It has 182,000 miles on and is probably not worth spending a fortune; if too expensive to repair, I’ll sell it complete for spares, I guess.

Thanks Stan.
I have asked him for details and await the response with bated breath (and not a little trepidation…)

Local body shop has quoted £300 to redo one side. That will get it through the MoT.
That means I can put off any further decisions for a while!
