Hi all.
Next problem!

I have 2 keys. Both always worked fine. Battery in car went flat. Jumped it and 1 key has stopped working the central locking.

Opens drivers door on key in lock (doesn’t activate the central locking) But boot and lock unlock from the key remote doesn’t work.
Key does turn in ignition and start car.
Key has new battery in..

Have tried syncing again but nothing. Lots of flashing red light on key

Old key locks and unlocks, starts etc fine so not a BCM issue?

Any ideas? Accept, some days your the pigeon, some days your the statue!

Have you tried a battery reset? That should be your first port of call sir...

Thanks so much fella. As in disconnect battery and then touch the leads together?

Would it make a difference that one key is still working correctly and the other is starting car but not operating Central locking?

Yes sir exactly that… Put it this way, it cannot cause you a problem sir, it only fixes ECU’s in distress 👍
