In all honesty thats like peeing in the sea to raise the water level. Solar is a million miles away from being close to do any meaningful charging whilst onboard a car. BMW i3 Electric Car

we're talking home solar to charge your home battery and electric car, not charge the car itself, however, there are three solar cars coming to market soon:

No I dont BB was talking about household solar panels - "The “smart” solution should include investment in developing more efficient solar panels and fitting them instead of sunroofs on all hybrid/ electric cars to help trickle charge the batteries." Hence my comment. |
