I put shudder fix in my 3.6 at 97K (Doctor Tranny) as a temp fix, it lasted well over 50K and with regular trans oil changes, (every other service) was kept at bay. Not sure if I was just lucky but it worked on mine up to 165K when I eventually sold it. |

I’ll try the shudder fix see what that does. It might buy me some time to save pennies for a torque converter. If the shudder fix sorts the problem or lessens the juddering then is it safe to assume it’s definitely the torque converter? |

Yes I would say so, it did on mine anyway. I would change the trans fluid at the same time as the chances are it will be degraded anyway. |

Partial oil change may stop it if not severe. 2010 3.6tdv8 180k km.
