Stan, it's fly by wire, but you could be on the right track, it could be a faulty accelerator pedal..

My guess, a speed sensor in the gearbox, or the speed sensor/ abs sensor, I think it is the right rear one. |

The funny thing is I left it to cool for an hr then it worked as normal still fluctuated a bit on tick over but still drove. Just drove another 30miles now no sign of it doing it and still no codes on the iid tool |

FYI speed sensor is left rear ABS sensor, if it goes it chucks on loads of faults and lots of warning lights... So checked the hoses their all good. Checked the injector values and injector one was 894 and the others in the 950-1095 mark so I think their ok. I was thinking perhaps egrs? |

Hi Pete sorry had surgery not been here for a week. So throttle works fine been driving it all yesterday no problems done about 30miles in it all ok….but this morning started it up ran for 10 seconds and cut out like stalled didn’t know autos could that along with all the messages engine system fault transmission gears only (missed abit on that one) parking brake fault and got the code p0191-24 and a generic code u0401-00. Never had the p0191-24 and it’s the fuel pressure sensor stays high which I thought was strange. So cleared faults turned off then on just drove 5 miles and it’s purring it’s sooo weird. |
