Automatically Activating PDC at slow speed

Does anyone know if the PDC system can be set to come on automatically at slow speed, say parking speed. Rather than having to press the button or go into reverse.
This is for 2011 AB. My sons D3 does this and so do many other cars.
Thanks
Andy
I have an IID for CCF changes and have looked through the full CCF but not seen anything.

Hi Andy, The front PDC sensors appear to have a mind of there own. I would be interested if there is a way.

Yes, I usually have to press the button to activate the fronts when driving into a parking space. However yesterday, the fronts activated themselves Shocked
Now, I'm not sure if this was because I drove in slightly, then reversed to straighten up before going forward. Anyhow the fronts bleeped without my intervention!.

May have to try that procedure again Whistle

All the best Paul.

They don't make it come on automatically at low speed as this would seriously Censored you off when off roading at slow speed down a lane with overgrown sides...!

Would be nice if it was an option though... Pete

My 2012's parking sensors don't switch off after reversing until a decent forward speed is reached, so the front sensors will still be active if still parking.
