having it done professionally for £40 makes more sense than paying £45 for a halfords tin of baked beans..

Yeah, mines also a 2005 and I suspect its never been done before. It's also lived most of it's life in the north of Scotland so was probably never switched on My Previous RR's!

don't go near kwik fit - they know about range rover aircon as i know about virgins in slough |

I used Kwik Fit and they did a good job but it only lasted a week, they re-did it free and again it only lasted a week so they gave me my money back no problem.

I'm amazed that Freon refrigerant gas is available so freely over the counter at Halfords, it's one of the most vigorous ozone depleting gases there is - 1 part freon will destroy something like 400-500 parts of ozone if it is allowed to escape into the atmosphere. At work we have to get special permission to re-gas refrigerated container units, even with the less ozone depleting versions of freon and supplies of the gas are very strictly controlled 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes |
