Front brake sensors

Is there one or two brake sensors fitted to the front brake pads on the L322? Mine only had one fitted on the passenger side and it doesn’t work and fires up a ABS fault code. Should I get a genuine item? I had issues not too long ago with ABS sensors which weren’t genuine Land Rover items.

Any help much appreciated.

Regards
Mark

There is one brake pad wear sensor fitted to the front but it has nothing to do with the ABS which uses one ABS sensor on each wheel... Pete

That’s what I thought. One on the passenger side. The ABS code has cropped up and given those sensors were changed a few months back I’ve only changed the brake sensor today which is linked to the ABS brake circuit. Hopefully I’ll be able to find the fault….unless anyone else has any ideas?

Cleared the ABS code and been left with the brake pads worn warning. Suspect a crap sensor so ordered a new genuine sensor. I must write a note to self and remember to just buy genuine and stop trying to save a few pounds in OEM stuff as I always have problems somewhere done the line!!
