Just to clarify, I ran the IID tool scanner over the car when the intermittent audio problem appeared. The IDD showed the same fault. The below fault is from two weeks ago.

Hi, I had a similar problem a while ago. It turned out to be moisture getting into to LH rear compartment where all the phone, tv, DVD stuff is. I replaced the phone module, which was the culprit and all was good. Apparently if moisture gets into any of the modules it can affect all of them as they are connected via a fibre optic cable, which hates water. Water can enter this compartment via a blocked rear sunroof drain. I hope this helps.

Bypass the Nokia unit to establish if it is that before buying a new one. John

Today I finally got around to by-passing the Nokia unit. But no change. Any other suggestions? Thanks.

Did you wrap that at all? I did the same in mine but wrapped it all with black electrical tape.

Thanks Ash. Finally got back to this. Wrapped it all up in black tape. But no luck unfortunately. ______________________________

All resolved. It turns out the problem module was a Mobridge digital radio receiver I added. Currently by-passed. Will disconnect power and remove eventually. ______________________________
