Hi,

I've recently become the new owner of my first RR (2004 4.4 v and am looking at options to upgrade the headunit to an Android one (Eanon etc.).

First things first though, before I go buying anything I wondered what each box was in the boot (see pictures attached).

I know that there has been something done already as there's an additional Gold coloured box which was a digital tv, however I can't get it to work at all (batteries changed in the remote, still nothing).

Can anyone identify which box is what in the rear ?

Silver one at the very bottom, with the blue plug and the 2 little wire connectors, is the analogue TV unit.

The sat nav has a DVD icon on the front of it, so that has been upgraded to a BMW MK4 sat nav.

I believe the smaller silver unit under the sat nav is a voice recognition module.

The silver unit at the bottom, near the rear light, with a big black plug, is the Telephone Control Module.

The black unit in the bottom, with cooling fins, is the DSP, and buried in the bottom, below the tv unit is the BM54 amp and radio tuner. It’s silver.

I'll have to have a look under the Analogue TV for the BM54.

I think I had to unbolt the black plastic tray with the lip on, screwed to the floor between the units and the spare wheel well.
